Our Water Project is complete

Congratulations City of Keo and Keo Water Customers, our water infrastructure project is complete. Thank you for your patience throughout this process. Thanks to the generosity of a USDA/ANRC principal forgiveness grant, Lonoke County ARPA grant and a low interest loan, the City of Keo and water customers have an almost entirely new water system. We replaced 75% of the old water lines, upgraded to smart metering, added fire hydrants, upsized lines in certain areas, purchased a generator for the water treatment plant, repaired and painted the water storage tank inside and out, and purchased a new well assembly. These updgrades were 2.5 million dollars and were a much needed upgrade for our community.
