Keo Launches New Monthly "First Friday with Friends" Community Series
An exciting new tradition is coming to the heart of Keo this season. The city is officially launching “First Friday with Friends,” a family-friendly monthly gathering designed to bring neighbors, families, and visitors together for an evening of community fun. The kickoff event will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Friday, July 3rd at Keo City Park. Organizers want to emphasize that everyone is welcome to attend this completely free community series.
To celebrate the inaugural gathering, the first month’s theme is all about classic summertime fellowship. Attendees can look forward to a relaxed evening downtown featuring lawn games, a community meet-and-greet, and plenty of cold, refreshing watermelon to beat the heat. It is the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet new neighbors, and enjoy a beautiful evening in the park.
Sponsored as a Keo Collective Community Event, "First Friday with Friends" will feature a completely different set of fun activities and themes each month to keep the community coming back for more. Rain or shine, the event is a go, if the weather doesn't cooperate, the fun will simply move completely indoors so nobody has to brave the elements. Mark your calendars, pack up your lawn chairs, and come downtown to help kick off this fantastic new monthly tradition!
